The castle that is west of the sun and east of the moon…
The old castle in Kalmar looks as if it was taken directly from a storybook. Kings and queens, princes and princesses lived here for hundreds of years. During the summer season children can meet Princess Anna Vasa and follow along as she talks about the castle and life at the castle. In the Royal Kitchen you will find a children's workshop, where you can make swords, shields, crowns, jewelry and play games from the time of Gustav Vasa. Perhaps someone will dress up as a princess and be photographed as a memory of their visit to the "king's castle."
